Terms of Service

1. The service

OfferU connects consumers with time-bound offers from local merchants. Consumers browse nearby offers and redeem them in person via QR code; merchants publish and manage offers through the OfferU Merchant app.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use OfferU.

3. Offers and redemptions

• Offers are created and honoured by merchants, subject to their stated conditions and time windows.
• QR codes are single-use and expire 5 minutes after generation.
• Redemption limits (per user, per offer) may apply and are shown on the offer.
• OfferU is not a party to the transaction between you and the merchant.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to redeem offers fraudulently, interfering with the platform's operation, scraping data, or using another person's account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

5. Merchant terms

Merchants are responsible for the accuracy and legality of offers they publish, honouring valid redemptions, and complying with applicable consumer-protection law. Paid subscription tiers, where applicable, are billed as described at the point of purchase.

6. Liability

OfferU provides the platform "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or omissions of merchants. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these terms.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
